Trainer Profile

Hello, I’m Lindsey! My goal is to passionately encourage mindful movements that support busy professionals in their daily lives.

Lindsey Goldwasser

In 2010, Lindsey began her career as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (her dream job). As she settled further into her stressful “9-5” she noticed a slow shift with her diet. Lindsey’s diet became more and more limited due to chronic sinus infections and digestive troubles. In 2015, Lindsey decided it was time to take control back of her health and shifted her lifestyle from sickness to wellness. Lindsey obtained her RYT-200 Hour Training in Arlington, VA as well as her Prenatal Yoga Certification in Santa Monica, CA. Lindsey later went on to graduate from the Integrative Institute of Nutrition (IIN), where she learned principally that the body can heal itself. Lindsey strives to share holistic nutrition and wellness information and she is passionate about encouraging mindful movements that support busy professionals in their daily lives.

The ability to fully notice our surroundings and our relationship to them is a skill that can be refined through the practice of mindfulness meditation. Reawaken to the internal and external experiences of the present moment through practices that cultivate awareness, self-regulation, and the capacity for presence.

The practice of mindful awareness has a variety of well-documented impacts, including a reduction in toxic stress, an increase in emotion regulation, and an improvement in sustained attention, focus and executive functioning.

mindful movement
When our minds become too active and crowded, bringing attention to our bodies can revive and synchronize our being, bringing about a welcomed sense of calm and relaxation. This practice brings mindfulness to the body through somatic movement and includes practices such as Qi Gong, mindful walking or yoga postures.
