Cynthia Kane

Cynthia is a certified meditation and mindfulness instructor. She received her B.A. from Bard College and her M.F.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. She has written for national and international publications including: Yoga Journal, VegNews, Bridal Guide Magazine, Black Book Magazine City Guides, Pregnancy Magazine, The Jerusalem Post and more. Online she has written for The Washington Post, Woman’s Day, BBC Travel,, Elite Daily, Role/Reboot, Mind Body Green, Elephant Journal, BUSTLE.COM and Every Day Feminism. She has also blogged for the Huffington Post. She has written Take a Hike: The Best 50 Routes in the Community of Madrid (Ediciones La Libreria, May 2011), and How To Communicate Like a Buddhist (Hierophant Publishing, April 2016).

The unsettling noise of the city can elevate our stress levels. This class invites you to drop into a state of relaxation through a guided sound meditation. After settling in the singing bowl’s soothing tones will relax your body, breath, and mind. Depart class feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Reawaken to the internal and external experiences of the present moment. Intended to strengthen the Mind (mindfulness), this class teaches techniques and methods for systematically developing awareness.
