About this workshop:
Experience how ancient Yogic wisdom and mind-body techniques can help you access healing, spaciousness and peace even amidst the uncertainty and discomfort of life’s inevitable losses, disappointments, and challenges. Ancient philosophical insights offer us the possibility of revolutionary transformation from the inside out.
Breathing, movement, guided imagery, and meditation will allow for a deeper exploration and engagement with these perspectives and practices.
Participants will explore methods to skillfully relate to grief, tension and emotions built up and stored in the body as a result of loss, change, stress, lack of control, and over-identification with thoughts and feelings.
The self-soothing, self-coping, self-healing, and self-empowering practices in this workshop are appropriate for those completely new to yoga and meditation, as well as experienced practitioners.
