Why an Office Amenity?

The business of commercial realty is very competitive. Now, new competition is popping up with co-working spaces becoming a popular trend. However, the advantage of large commercial office developers is economy of scale for attractive amenities which has been proven to increase tenant acquisition (WIN new tenants!), improve customer retention (Keep the tenants you currently have) and improve any underutilized, older or boring space.

Demand for shared amenities is rapidly growing as companies shift their healthcare focus from sick treatment to preventative care and well-being. Frankly, the upfront costs is prohibitive for many companies who want to invest in employee wellness, even though it makes absolute sense to their bottom line. A commercial developer providing an office amenity to tenants, prospective and existing, solves this problem.

Companies deciding to relocate are looking for first-class office amenities. But, when evaluating the long list of possible amenity offerings, what kind of amenities make the most sense to provide tenants on a fixed budget?

We say “align your interests with your tenants’ interests”. In other words, companies now demand amenities that solve their problems. Today, companies are starving for solutions to employee engagement, productivity, and energy as well as how to effectively reduce healthcare costs. Businesses leaders today evaluate all decisions by the magic three letters: ROI.  Is there a measurable ROI that can be obtained from X?

Our next post, Why focus on Sleep Health as an Office Amenity?, answers this burning question with some office amenity options that may boost company ROI.
