Pamela Stokes Eggleston

Biography
A certified Pranakriya 500-hour yoga instructor and yoga therapist, Pamela has practiced for 15 years and completed specialized training to include certifications in plant-based nutrition, stress management, prenatal yoga and certifications in Mindful Yoga for Trauma and Mindful Yoga Therapy, empirically- and evidenced-based yoga therapy programs, to work with service members, veterans with combat trauma and PTS(D), and their families. She is the founder and CEO of Yoga2Sleep, an organization that uses yoga and wellness services to promote “better sleep for the best life.” Through the organization’s partnerships, she collaborates with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Mindful Yoga Therapy, The Give Back Yoga Foundation, Women Veterans Interactive, Dog Tag Bakery, Hope for the Warriors, the Omega Institute's Yoga Service Council and others. Additionally, she is a HeartMath coach, focusing on mental, spiritual and emotional stress from a heart-centered approach. A wounded warrior spouse, caregiver, daughter of an Air Force veteran and granddaughter of a WWII Army veteran, Pamela is a strong and vocal advocate for service members, military spouses and veteran families. She is contributing editor of Best Practices for Yoga with Veterans (YSC/Omega Books, 2016). A meditation teacher, Pamela’s military families meditations are spotlighted on the app Meditation Studio by Gaiam. Pamela has been featured in Mantra Yoga and Health, Essence and Essence.com, the Huffington Post and on MSNBC.

Reduce accumulated stress with this deep relaxation meditation practice. Giving attention and loving kindness to each part of our body as we lie down in deep rest. We offer our gratitude and awareness to each area of our body to release tension, support healing, and strengthen immune function.
