Biography
Christine is an Integrative Therapist and holistic healer who is certified in yoga, meditation and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). After 13 years living overseas and teaching in military environments she returned to the states and founded the San Antonio Texas Yoga Association, the SATYA School of Yoga and opened Jai Yoga Integrative Therapy where she focused on helping clients with trauma, PTSD, addiction, and anxiety disorders. She is a graduate of Sri Shambhavananda and an alumni of the Shambhava Ashram at Konalani on the big island of Hawaii. After more than 35 years of practice and dedicated study all over the world, including the International Buddhist Center at Prathat Doi Suthep in Thailand, she has become an experienced professional with immense desire to share the path of mindfulness. Christine has spent the last 15 years conducting group classes, workshops, private sessions and instructor trainings. She facilitates meditation and mindfulness practices in secular settings to help people discover the foundations of meditation and mindfulness as a way to alleviate suffering and as a return to balance, ease and clarity for the body, mind and spirit. When she is not teaching, saving abandoned puppies or traveling in the eternal quest for knowledge, cultural exchange and the occasional rescue of elephants; she can be found spending time with her husband, two daughters, rescue cats Hiro and Ando and a husky named Bodhi.

deep rest

mindfulness
Reawaken to the internal and external experiences of the present moment. Intended to strengthen the Mind (mindfulness), this class teaches techniques and methods for systematically developing awareness.

The practice of mindful awareness has a variety of well-documented impacts, including a reduction in toxic stress, an increase in emotion regulation, and an improvement in sustained attention, focus and executive functioning.
